Our Work / Create State
A place to gather,
create and make things happen.
Create State is Catalyst Guild's developing public community center, creative studio, and collaborative working environment.
Our Community Studio began with small gatherings. We're building on that experience by planning activities with interested people at existing third spaces throughout the Skagit River Valley.
What people bring
Interests, experience and something worth trying.
We're interested in the things people enjoy doing together, the skills and experiences they want to share, and the projects they find worth pursuing.
Get Involved ↗What we learn
Making gathering places work.
Along the way, we're discovering what makes gathering places work, what people want to do together, and what equipment and infrastructure could help.

A home that strengthens other places.
Our ambition is a permanent Guild House that will also serve as a working resource for other gathering places. Having our own home won't mean we stop taking Create State into the wider community.
